Hank’s accomplished writing career spans these areas:

Nonfiction Writing: He is co-authoring a sales-related book with the CEO of a leading technology company and is editing a book on leadership. He has written two histories Meeting the Challenge: The Wesley College Story 1873-2003 and Elmira College: Still Ahead of Its Time.

Freelance Writing: Hank writes on issues in business, health care, psychology, and higher education. His work, under his bylines and the bylines of clients has appeared in The Presidency, Convene, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Pittsburgh Business Times, TEQ Magazine, Pittsburgh Metroguide, The Strip Magazine, Oncology Times, Hematology Oncology News & Issues, Western Pennsylvania Hospital News and South Florida Hospital News.

Editorial: He is the editor of the yearly Pittsburgh Metro Guide and the quarterly The Strip Magazine. He has served as editor of South Fayette & Neighbors, a bi-monthly, consumer magazine.

Writing Coaching: Through his Write It Right© program, he coaches nonfiction authors, academics, and business professionals on writing and publishing book-length works and writing for print and online media.

Presentation Coaching: His program, The World Is a Stage and You’re On It©, has guided hundreds of professionals and business executives in refining their presentations to large and small groups.  His Tell It to Them in Sound Bites© program has prepared corporate spokespersons to master the art of news and talk-show television appearances.

Teaching in Higher Education: From time to time, he lectures on writing for publication at institutions of higher learning. He has designed and taught graduate and undergraduate courses at these fine organizations: Carnegie Mellon University, Duquesne University, Point Park University, Chatham University, and Carlow University.
